Flower Basket

10 points! I would like to make my own floral hanging baskets?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind of flowers or vines to use? I would like a combination of flowers and vines. Thanks.

1. Exposure? Colors? Level of maintenance? Use lightweight potting soil (soilless soil, professional potting mix). Check out the Proven Winners web site for photos and info.
2. Use lilly's there good.and for vines i think zudzu?
3. i once went in to a basket competition and i personally suggest you to go in for a very simple arrangement..coz that would definitely attract rather than having a very complicated setup..moreover i would suggest you to get following flowers have your violet lilly around the corner of the basket and alittle red or pink rose fllowers in the inner to that of lilly's.then try to get some flowers that are white in color..and atlast get a rose colored lotus to fit in the middle..it should work good.. and about vines..get some thing around the outer walls of the basket and you can have them around the handle of the basket too.. enjoy..

Hi Diane,Fair crack of the whip mate,Rember i live in Australia&seasons are different,id go with minuture climbing Roses,alternate the colours,1,to a basket as they are disigned manly for hanging baskets,they are tiny,colourfull,and bush up beautifully,the smell of these roses are incredible.thank you for asking me.Anne.
