What sort of deal should I offer my local florist to convince them to carry my line of handmade gifts?
I make nappy cakes and I would like to ask the local florist to sell them for me, Problem is, I don't know what to offer them. A dollar amount, or percentage of profits... or something else? Please help!

- Sell them to the florist at wholesale and let them sell them at retail instead of selling on consignment. Offer them quick personal service. If you make them custom like with ribbons with the baby's name, birth date and statistics on them, make and deliver them in hours or minute after they get the order. We call them Diaper Cakes and they are cute. Make a photo book of your creations so customers can see what can be custom made for them. Also offer both pretty plain and a couple of upgrades. So if you have one with just diapers and ribbons and maybe one or two toy decorations you can say for $20 more you get more decorations and for $40 a real show piece, so for the same amount of diapers you can go from say $35 to $75 depending what the customer wants.
- Give them a few free samples and if they sell, they will ask for more. Cheers
